VICTORIAN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
This year's state championship rides will be held near Lexton, Victoria.
Starting midnight Friday 22Oct with the 160km (100mile) ride, and all other distances (20k, 40k and 80k) from 11am Saturday 23rd Oct.
Details and ride organiser contact are available following the link www.aera.asn.au/vera
This should prove to be a fabulous weekend, with hopefuls achieving their goals on both seasoned and novice horses. With my personal goal to complete the 100miler (safely!!!) with Big Charles debut at his 1st state championship ride.
Come along and experience the highlight of our state events for 2010, ride some distance, or simply soak up the atmosphere and dont forget to put up your hand to help along the way, riders, horses and other volunteers.
Wish us all luck and I hope you can join in the fun

ReplyDeleteInteresting to see how our horses manage and are managed on this the first real hotter weekend of the season.
In the last 4weeks I have only had 3 days where I could strategicly train in the heat of the day, otherwise has been brrrrr and windy....will see how we go!
